Winemaking

"Winemaking is like a dance, knowing the steps to cultivate the soil, allowing the vines the perfect stage to showcase the character of the grapes is the essence of the perfect wine.  Over 18 years of making wine, I have learned that the soil is consistent but each year the results are greatly influenced by the weather and delicate timing of harvesting the grapes.  Allowing the grapes to reach their maximum potential before introducing them to the barrel encourgages the wine to develop into something beautiful.

 Working with Alberto Antonini, our Italian Wine Consultant, has taught me how similar our climate is to Tuscany but our site captures a unique quality with each Italian varietal.  Discover what made me fall in love with wine and take a piece of it home in your heart.  

 I enjoy every second being in the heart of the Napa Valley, where truth is expressed from our soil and can only be found here in St. Helena.  Take a moment to appreciate the soul of our vines that are crafted in the Italian winemaking style.  Benessere, the state of well being, will transcend across your table and create lasting memories for years to come."
