Dallas Morning News Wine Competition February 2012. The revered competition, in it's 28th year, awarded Benessere wines a gold, silver and bronze. 2010 Pinot Grigio garnerd the gold, 2008 Sangiovese was awarded a silver and the 2008 Black Glass Zinfandel came home with the bronze. Of 740 entries, our 2007 Phenomenon, received Best of Show and a Double Gold medal. Our 2008 Sangiovese and 2010 Pinot Grigio finished with Silver medals.
